Pastor Elvie V. Evasco

Pastor Elvie V. Evasco was born in Iloilo, Philippines. She was brought up in a Christian family, her parents being members of the First Pentecostal Church Assemblies of God in their Hometown of Iloilo.

After finishing High School, she decided to follow the call of God in her life to become a minister. She took up a Ministerial Diploma Course at Temple Bible College and graduated on March 18, 1984.

She was appointed associate Pastor of Aloran Pentecostal Church in Misamis Occidental in June of 1984. After one and a half years of fruitful ministry in Mindanao, she moved to Manila to handle Jesus Our Firm Foundation AG at Punta, Santa Ana for nine years.

While serving the church in Manila, pursued a Theology Course at Bethel Bible College in Valenzuela, Metro Manila. The school (now known as Asia Pacific Theological Seminary) later relocated its campus to Baquio City. Being unable to attend the school in Baguio City, she decided to take a Midwifery Course and graduated on April 11, 1992.

Pastor Elvie Evasco is an ordained minister of the Philippines General Council of the Assemblies of God. She was endorsed to the China Assemblies of God District Council at the request of Agape ICA Senior Pastor, Rev. Richard E. Adams as a full-time Filipino Missionary in August of 1996. She was the first Filipino to be granted legal missionary status in Taiwan under the Taiwan Assemblies of God.

Pastor Elvie Evasco oversees and coordinates the ministry of volunteer pastors working in Agape ICAʼs outreach churches and works alongside the Agape ICA Senior Pastor to promote and develop the outreach ministry. She also preaches in various outreach churches, and ministers to the sick and imprisoned in Taipei.
